Franco Di Matteo with his jaw-dropping-awe-inspiring-blindingly-fast Alfa GT will take the lead in Class A+.
Tony Sharp is expected to lead the Class A challenge in his Alfa Romeo Giulietta Turbo and has issued a challenge to his fellow competitors to catch him. Bjorn Gebert in the Alfa Romeo GTV will for sure be one of those challengers. Also expected to be lining up on the A grid will be Jose De Carvalho in his Alfa 155.
The classic Alfa’s will see guys like Jan Jacobs in the GT Junior, George Adalis in a 1970 GTV, Roger Houston in a 1965 Alfa Giulia Super, Corrie Tolmay in the ’72 Berlina, John Bronner in a ’65 Giulia and Louis Baartman in his ’74 GT Junior.
With some outstanding entries don’t be surprised to see a few more in qualifying on Saturday morning at 07:30. Our first race is scheduled for 09:50 and the second race will be at 13:20.
And for those that wish to meet our racers they are most welcome to come visit us in our pits located in the area above(west) the new BMW building.
Entrance on the day is R90 per adult and R70 per student. Kids under 12 go in free.
The season opening round is promising to be an exciting one so do not miss it!
